Troubleshooting & Repairs
If the product does not work as it should then please firstly consult the user manual.
If the error cannot be removed, please contact us.
If we cannot help you by email or phone, the robot must be sent/brought in for repair. Please specify what details are needed to be sent for repair.
Before sending for repair
Before sending your product for repair, please clean the machine:
- Remove the small front wheel and side- and roller brush. Clean them and put them back.
- Remove the dust container, clean it and put it back.
- Also check the wheels to make sure they are clean.
If you decide to leave the cleaning to us, it is for a fee.
Shipping
Pack the product safely in a box, add information about the owner of the robot and the error.
The parcel can be sent to any Kiili parcel machine (DPD, Omniva, Smartpost), recipient Robotec and phone +37253848289.
For transportation abroad, please contact us first via the e-mail info@robotec.pro.
You can also bring the product yourself to our office-warehouse, the address is Kiili, Veski 5, II door, FPL Trading OÜ. Please let us know in advance that you are coming, we will be there.
Warranty and the repair fee
The products have a manufacturer’s warranty of one year, and two years is the time for submitting claims. This means that for the first year it is assumed that the fault was present in the product at the very beginning. If a product defect appears after the first year of use, it is the consumer’s responsibility to prove that the product had a defect right from the start.
If the product does not work and it does not have a manufacturer’s warranty, we can offer defect detection, i.e. finding out the cause of the error – it costs 24 euros. If the fault has been identified, we present the customer with the price of the repair, which consists of the technician’s work (25 €/0,5 h), the price of the spare part and the shipping cost. If the consumer is satisfied with the price, we will repair the product.
If the repair of the product becomes unreasonably expensive, we have advised our customers to contact insurance. Home insurance covers the repair or replacement of home appliances.
